Evergreen Christian Ministries We at Evergreen Christian Ministries (www.evergreencm.org) are excited that a new camping season is approaching and invite you to experience Stayner Camp located on the Stayner Bible Conference Grounds nrear Wasaga Beach and Collingwood and/or Camp Mishewah located on Round Lake near Pembroke this summer. Family time is both critical and scarce. That's why we offer Family Camp at both Stayner and Mishewah. Family Camp is a place for the entire family to vacation together, in a distinctly Christian family camping experience with a line up of great speakers and concerts, excellent family activities and superb staff; all enjoyed in a warm Christian family environment with the freedom for your family to relax, have fun together and build lasting family memories. Trail of the Pines and Mishewah Kids and Youth Camps provide a fantastic Christian camping experience with great opportunities for fun, recreation, building friendships and spiritual renewal. Depending on which Evergreen camp you choose we provide activities such as: wall-climbing, archery, crafts, tennis, chapel times, campfires, out-tripping, sports, a variety of cabin and group activities, various other games and exciting activities all supervised by superb qualified Christian staff enjoyed in a warm Christian environment. Both camps are members of Christian Camping International and affiliated with the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada. Camp Mishewah is also accredited with the Ontario Camping Association. Camp Widjiitiwin Challenging kids with the truth of Jesus: whether to start their faith-journey or grow further in it, “Widji” provides a safe environment where campers can meet new friends, learn new skills and grow in their walk with Christ. Since 1930 Camp Widjiitiwin has sought to provide excellence in teaching, education, worship and fellowship through building community in a safe Christ-centred environment and developing outdoor skills, with a focus on Bible teaching for campers 7-17. We run three 3-week SALT leadership sessions, nine weeks of summer camp including TNT (7-11), Blast (12-14) and SIZZLE, our senior high camp (14-17) during the last week. SALT – our Skills And Leadership Training (14-17), seeks to train the next generation of Christian leaders; providing for experience in leading others; to develop or improve outdoor skills; for personal growth; to development group dynamics through teamwork and to provide coaching assessment.
